The first king of a group of Nephites that return to the land of Nephi-Lehi in the days of Mosiah the first.   He is overzealous to inherit the land and entered into a covenant with King Laman.   He taught his people to trust in the Lord although apparently the lesson wasn't well learned by is son, Noah, who took over as king after Zeniff died.
